Handmade Arts and Crafts from Appalachian Artists.

Jim McGuire - Ceramicist (Mugger)

Every ceramic mug is handmade in my pottery studio in Richmond, Kentucky. The clay and glazes all come from the Dirty Girls at KyMudworks, in Lexington, Kentucky. I use only their clay and their glazes, nothing from outside the state of Kentucky. The clays are called Brown Bear, Speckled Brown Bear, Big Turtle, Speckled Turtle, and Mulholland. The glazes I use are primarily Floating Blue, Waxy Blue, Everglade, Hell’s Fire, Sequoia, and coming soon - Ky Bluegrass.

Steve Endicott - Wood burner

Every piece is an original design and made by hand. No two are exactly alike because every piece is unique and created by using wood specifically chosen for the work of art and burned to perfection.

We are dedicated to making original works of art that represent Appalachian traditions.
